The Sweaters Worth Building Your Outfits Around
When I think of “cozy knitwear,” I immediately think of Sézane. Their now-bestselling chunky cardigan was one of the first pieces I ever purchased from them many years ago, and it marked the beginning of a love affair with the brand. The quality and coziness of each sweater feel like a warm hug on a chilly day. Every piece feels really special.

Their knits (like this one) feel like true classics in your closet; they’re never too trendy and will be staples for years to come. I’m looking for longevity in my pieces, and Sézane delivers.
As a lover of color who is very particular about specific shades, I must also say that the colorways they create for their knitwear are unmatched. This year, they’ve launched one of my favorite new colors, Gold, a deeply saturated olive-gold that works well with my olive-toned skin. I also just bought this boatneck knit in a gorgeous deep blue color.
Have a browse through their knitwear collection (which would also make amazing gifts, by the way) and let me know if you’ve got any favorites.
Sézane sent me a few pieces to try on, and I had so much fun styling them. (Seriously, how did I land my dream job?!) I recorded a 3-minute video you can watch below to show you how I’m wearing the sweaters. TikTok creator, my editing skills are not, lol, so please be advised before pressing play:
Today’s post is in partnership with Sézane, a brand I’ve loved and shopped from for many years. Thank you for your support!
18 Cozy Gifts That Basically Feel Like A Hug
LAKE Pajamas Cozy Robe. I swear by this fleece-lined robe and think it’s a foolproof gift. I prefer a more plush robe for winter mornings (as opposed to something like cotton), and this one keeps me incredibly warm.
L.A. Burdick box of chocolates. The little chocolate mice?! I mean, come on. Adorable and such a treat for anyone.
Sharland England Dotty Mug. So charming and made for enjoying an evening cup of hot cocoa.
Soft Services Theraplush Retinol Hand Cream. A firming moisturizer that looks like a sculptural object and will sit pretty on a nightstand.
Candle Snuffer and Trimmer Set. Speaking from experience, your giftee will feel so luxe snuffing out their candles rather than blowing them out. A trimmer is a must-have to prevent tunneling and burn marks. This would make a great gift to pair with a candle (see #8 :)).
Rothy’s Cozy Bouclé Clogs. These went viral for a reason. So good, I own two pairs.
Galison holiday puzzles. The price point is great ($17), and this would make a lovely experiential gift for your loved one can enjoy on a screen-free winter’s night.
Downtime x The New Savant Holiday Candle Collection. Candles that smell like freshly baked cookies, a pine forest with crisp book pages, and orange zest with caramelized sugar? Sign. Me. Up! (ALISHA15 for 15% off)
Matilda Goad Brass Matchbox Sleeve. I’ve been coveting this beautiful piece for a few years now—you can have it custom engraved, too.
Sézane Thick and Cozy Socks. These look so soft; a must for a leisurely night in.
Papier x Damson Madder Journal. I love Papier’s designs and the idea of giving the gift of reflection with a pretty journal.
Matilda Goad Brass Candle Holder. You could transform your coffee table into a whole vibe with this one thing.
The Correspondent by Virginia Evans. This book is so cozy; it’s an epistolary novel composed of letters from an aging woman living in Maryland who writes to her family, friends, neighbors, and other acquaintances. It would make a great gift for a mother, MIL, aunt, etc. Also great on audio!
Salt & Stone Body Wash. I tested these scents IRL last week, and they are truly luxurious. File under “things your friend wouldn’t buy for herself” and thus would make an excellent cozy gift.
Bombas Slippers. I’m simply convinced everyone needs a solid house slipper and toasty feet.
Bellocq The Breakfast Collection Tea Set. A perfect pairing of black tea and raspberry jam, in the loveliest packaging, under $70.
Oak Essentials Moisture Rich Body Balm. This melts into the skin beautifully. When the temps dip, I want an ultra-hydrating moisturizer to slather all over before bed. The scent is pleasant but subtle, a plus.
Loeffler Randall knit beanie. The pattern is so sweet and it’s made of 100% wool.

I can't decide between the Rothy's clog/slippers and the Bombas slippers. These would just be for wearing inside the house..do you feel strongly one way or another? Are your Rothy's house shoes or do you wear them out?
Do you recommend the Bombas or Rothy's for comfy indoor wear <3
