Recs #92: A mini edition of fun things
What I’m queuing up, what I’m listening to, and what made me laugh this week.
Welcome back to the weekly Friday roundup at Downtime.
Hi and happy Friday! It’s been quite the week here, so consider this a snacky, mini edition of the Friday letter. We’ve been busy getting back into a routine after the long holiday weekend (felt so good to go back to the gym), and quite busy wrapping up the final stages of our kitchen reno, which I’m sure you’re tired of hearing about. If you’re not tired of hearing about it, I shared a recap on my Instagram Stories right here, if you’d like to take a peek.
I’m excited for some chill R&R this weekend, cracking open a new book, and mostly hibernating during these unseasonably chillier and rainy days here in the D.C. area. Hope you get a little R&R too. —Alisha

This Week’s Things
A few good things worth mentioning…
Snacking on: Grillo’s pickles, which were reintroduced to me at a friend’s BBQ last weekend. IYKYK.
Read the rest under the paywall… including the show I’m starting, the dreamy playlist I’m looping, and one charming little kitchen object that made me giggle.
Admiring: My new monogrammed Boat & Tote, which shall be my “it bag” of the summer. I got some questions on IG about the size: this is a medium with long handles, and a zip closure.
Ready to summer in Maine, ha!
